About Men's Club:

Anshai Torah Men's Club is an auxiliary organization of the synagogue whose objective is to provide
opportunities for social interaction for its members.  We seek to involve our members in fun and fulfilling
activities that will benefit the synagogue and be of service to the community.
We have monthly meetings in the synagogue, usually on the third Sunday of the month, beginning at 9:00 AM.
Watch the synagogue announcements and weekly emails for specific dates.  We serve bagels, muffins, fruit, juice
and coffee, and, while we nosh, we have a short business meeting where we discuss upcoming events and
new activity ideas.  Many of our meetings also include short programs.
Throughout the year the Men's Club:

  • Holds fun and educational events such as ScotchTasting or our annual Beer Tasting
  • Helps out with High Holiday usherinHandles the construction and subsequent dismantling of the sukkah
  • Our Sunday afternoon Football in the Sukkah is a great annual event!
  • Fries all of the latkes for the shul's Chanukah celebration
  • Purchases and delivers Yom Ha Shoah candles for the entire congregation
  • Mans the grills for the Purim carnival
  • Goes camping together with our kids for a weekend Shabbaton
  • Holds our annual Elijah's Cup Golf Tournament benefiting the Men's Club Scholarship Fund
  • Holds games nights, bike rides, movie nights, and other social activites
